I’ve written games since I was a kid, mostly for the editification of myself and my friends, but some of them have found a bit of a wider audience.

The Wildside Gaming System: Fantasy Roleplaying Edition I designed and tweaked over many years was published last fall by The Wildside Press.

Merindian Rummy, a card game that I wrote on a lark as an offshoot of that game, has achieved its own place in folklore, and spread reasonably widely outside of gaming circles.

I designed a baseball simulation, nicknamed Lizardball, which is a lot of fun to play but I don’t have any particular plans to have published. On the other hand, I wasn’t exactly pushing to get the roleplaying game into print until a combination of pressure from my UConn students and from The Wildside Press’s John Betancourt convinced me to finish it.
